RV Mingun (Mandalay-Mingun-Ava@Inwa-Mandalay) is a traditional Myanmar boat that brings guests through ancient cities along the Irrawaddy River near Mandalay
The boat program is a 3-days 2-nights one, returning guests back to Mandalay after the journey
Each cabin feature a seating area
It is equipped with a private bathroom with a shower, slippers, and free toiletries
Towels and bed linen are offered
Guests can enjoy a meals on board
The nearest airport to the embarking spot is Mandalay International Airport, 32 km from the property
The stay on the boat will include the following itinerary:
Day 1
- Check-in and embark at Mandalay jetty at 16:00 hrs
- Guests enjoy welcome drink
- Boat sails upstream of the Irrawaddy river towards Mingun for 1
5 hrs
- Enjoy a apéritif
- Dinner and overnight on-board
Day 2
- Breakfast served on sun deck from 07:00 hrs
- Visit village of Mingun, Mingun Bell as well as Pondawphaya, Settawya and Pahtodawgyi Pagodas
- Return on-board to sail towards Ava & enjoy Lunch
- Visit Island of Ava via horse carriage
Sights include Bagaya Kyaung & Me Nu Oak Kyaung Monasteries
- Enjoy barbecue dinner on a sand beach
- Overnight on-board
Day 3
- Breakfast on board
- Disembark at 10:00 to cruise back to Mandalay
- Please note that the time and jetty can be adjusted depending on the guests' flight schedule
